Handle micarta over g-10
This hand made drop point field knife is based on two proven designs (the working Bowie and the Fariburn-Applegate style)
while enjoying the advantages of being handmade from the highest quality
materials. The entire knife from blade shaping and heat treat to handle
construction is done in-house to ensure quality. The 0-1 blade has a mid
line convex grind giving a great balance between cutting efficiency and
durability. There is a distinctive swedge along the drop point giving the knife a every fine point to complement the efficient cutting blade. To build on this well thought out blade, it has been parkerized to give you carbon steel performance with minimal maintenance. The handle is black linen
micarta over layered grey vulcanized fiber and black g-10 liners with
three 1/4" micarta pins. The handle is contoured to ensure reliable control and
a confident grip, but in a trademark bit of over engineering, the handles
are then sandblasted to give a shark skin texture, increasing the friction
to complement the mechanical look. The sandblasting and parkerizing
give an added advantage of producing a flat, non reflective finish.
